Middle Backend Developer

Kiss My Apps is looking for a Back-end Developer with a business-oriented mindset to develop our Health & Fitness products. As the first Back-end Developer in our business unit, you will have the opportunity to build the core infrastructure, develop new features and form the technical foundation of our products.

Hard and soft skills required for the position:

1. 2+ years of experience using Node.js and Nest.js.

2. Experience with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL.

3. Theoretical knowledge of PHP, Symphony (or willingness to learn it yourself).

4. Ability to align technical solutions with business goals.

5. Proactive approach to finding optimisations and improvements.

6. Clear communication of technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

7. Ability to quickly adapt to changing business priorities.

8. Ability to balance multiple tasks without compromising quality.

9. Intermediate level of English.

Will be a plus:

1. Experience with Elastic.

2. Experience in a product company.

The team expects you to:

1. Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.

2. Ensure system reliability, security and performance.

3. Collaborating with product managers and FE developers (web, iOS, Android) to ensure a perfect user experience.

4. Manage databases, optimise queries and ensure data integrity.

5. Integration of third-party services and external APIs.

6. Writing clean, usable, and well-documented code.

7. Monitoring and debugging backend issues to ensure system stability.

8. Participate in making architectural decisions and improving development processes.

9. Understand business needs and prioritise tasks based on impact.

10. Shaping the backend infrastructure and directly impacting the success of our Health & Fitness products.
